The Morrigan

The Crow has always been part of our way. Obviously the name "Morrigan" has Celtic roots and we use it to reference the Crow Goddess because it is a commonly used modern name for someone Mithraism has known for a long time. You can still see the crow imagery inlaid in the floors of Roman Mithraeum recovered by archeologists. She's had other names at other times but Crow is Crow.  

This is best seen in the Initiate Rank of "Corvus" which requires a dual acceptance and formal initiation of the Bull and the Crow. We maintain these initiatory rites as part of our modern practice.
