Bast / Sekhmet

Our relationship with Bast is historically is linked to Sekhmet as the Lion goddess. One of the traditional Initiate Ranks is "Leo" and associated with this Goddess. Acceptance into this role requires formal rites of initiation for both Mithras and Bast.

As we honour Bast we also consider cat welfare an appropriate attitude for anyone honouring the Mother of Cats.
